A BIG thank you to all those who attended the childrens’ party at Cymbidium Farm yesterday – especially to Janet for opening up her beautiful farm.  It was a delightful morning filled with sunbeams…. Just the sort Jax loves.

Here’s a fun fundraiser…. Party time for the children at Cymbidium Farm. Come feed the animals – ponies, sheep, goats, geese, ducks, chickens & rabbits…. Tractor rides too!

Time : 10.30am – 12.30am

Venue : Cymbidium Farm, Constantia.

Directions: Drive down Constantia Main Road (Virgin Active is on your right), turn left into Alphen Drive, take first right before the Alphen Hotel, keep to the left where the road forks into Wolwekloof, & the farm is at the end of the road.

Cost: R25 entrance fee per child

Bring : Apples, carrots, old bread & lettuce for the animals to eat and, if you like, bring a picnic for yourselves

Wear : Old clothes, gum boots. Bring a raincoat if raining!

Info from Viktor:

In the morning we will chant 108 times the Gayatri mantra. This ancient Vedic Mantra is used to provoke healing, protection and liberation. There is no need to know it since we will first learn and understand it and chant it afterwards together for 108 times.

After chanting we will practice some gentle healing Asanas, followed by Pranayam and finish the morning with some contemplation on unconditional love.

The workshop is open to all, the focus is on healing and understanding by finding acceptance within. The suggested donation is 150 rand. It will be organized on a lovely  farm close to Cape Point nature reserve.
